One Tree Planted

Penta has chosen to team up with One Tree Planted to help fight deforestation, one of the most pressing issues on our planet. This charity is on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees: each dollar donated results in a new tree planted! Starting in 2014, One Tree Planted have more than doubled the number of trees planted year over year. Penta makes a donation to One Tree Planted every time a guest signals they don’t need their room to be cleaned up. This way, the environment wins twice: less water wasted, more trees planted.

We are proud to serve Belu at our UK properties, helping to make something good happen with Belu's water service. Belu give 100% of their profits to the charity WaterAid, to help make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere. In 2018, we alone helped Belu and WaterAid to transform 374 lives with clean water worldwide. We are supporting Belu and WaterAid to achieve Global Goal 6, of the UN Sustainable Development Goals ‘Water and sanitation for all’ by 2030. Photo credits: WaterAid/Ernest Randriarimalala
