This is Oleysia

We found our Face of Penta this month at the beautiful Pentahotel Moscow, Arbat. Olesya’s two passions are sports and reading so you will probably spot her in the gym, or relaxing in the Pentalounge with a book in one hand and an Aperol Spritz in the other. Read on for her job, favourite things about Penta and of course her spirit animal. 

 

Hi, let’s start with your name.

My name is Olesya. 

 

What do you do for a living?

I am the director of a medical clinic. 

 

…and how would you describe that in simple words to your 6-year-old self?

My colleagues and I help people to become healthier, slimmer, and live longer. We teach them to eat healthy food, take care of their bodies and enjoy sports. 

 

Drink of choice?

Milk tea in my daily life. But when I stay at Pentahotel Moscow, I always drink Pepsi or an Aperol Spritz. 

 

Tell us something that you are passionate about.

I’ve got two passions: sports and reading. In my youth, I was a Master of Sports (a sports title in the Russian Federation awarded for national and international success) in artistic gymnastics. After I turned 40, I started running marathons and got a Master of Sports in athletics. As for reading, I love historical and biographical books and enjoy everything related to popular science: research of the human brain and body, research about animals, religion, etc. 

 

What's your favourite thing about Penta?

Definitely the design, super friendly staff, the reception area combined with the bar and restaurant, breakfasts (!) and I love the pillows. 

 

Last one: what’s your spirit animal?

I’d say either a fox or a sheltie-dog :) just because I am very active and a redhead!
