Summer scene in Bremen showing a narrow street with a building that has a statue on its roof.

Culture, music, great food... and a hotel that puts you right in the middle of it all. Welcome to Bremen at the most beautiful time of the year. Whether you're travelling with friends, family or solo, summer in Bremen turns the city into a vibrant stage full of experiences. And the best part? From Pentahotel Bremen, all the hotspots are within easy reach. Whether you’re looking for a base for your city trip, a conference hotel, or just a chilled place to sip cocktails after a packed day—your summer holidays in Bremen start right here.

Open Space Domshof: Culture in the Heart of the City

From 6 June 2025, the Domshof square becomes the stage for a colourful mix of music, dance, and food. Every weekday there's a different event in the centre of Bremen, from wine tastings and dance classes to market concerts. All of it takes place outdoors, against a beautiful historic backdrop.

La Strada: Street Art That Will Wow You

From 12–15 June 2025, Bremen becomes an open-air stage for theatre, acrobatics and performance. La Strada brings together poetry and entertainment across the city’s parks, squares, and inner city. If you're up for a creative, feel-good festival with top artists, don’t miss this one. Plus, from your base at Pentahotel Bremen, you’re literally just minutes away from the action.

Breminale: Art, Music and Festival Vibes

When music, art and good vibes take over the meadows by the river Weser (9–13 July), it’s time for Breminale! Across ten stages you’ll catch everything from indie and electro to singer-songwriters, theatre and kids' activities. With circus tents, street food and readings, there’s something for every mood. And after all that? Your cosy room at with us is waiting for you.

Festival Maritim: Sea Air, Music & Global Sounds

The first weekend in August (1–3 August 2025) sees Bremen-Vegesack’s Maritime Mile transformed into a wave of sound and celebration. Over 30 bands from across Europe play more than 170 concerts on eight stages. From sea shanties and folk-pop to heartfelt ballads, this music festival has a unique charm and definitely stands apart from the norm.

Musikfest Bremen: From Classical to Global Beats

Between 16 August and 6 September 2025, Musikfest Bremen brings the northwest of Germany to life with sound. Across 30 venues, you’ll hear orchestras, opera, chamber music and jazz—featuring a blend of international stars and up-and-coming talent. The main venue, Die Glocke, sits right in the heart of Bremen’s old town. Our hot tip is to end the night with cocktails in our stylish bar in Bremen.

Don’t fancy a fest? Just fall in Love with Bremen’s Old Town instead!

Wander through the Schnoor district and you’ll step into Bremen’s oldest neighbourhood, full of cobbled streets, crooked alleyways and colourful half-timbered houses. The little shops, cafés and galleries line up like pearls on a string (which is exactly what “Schnoor” means). Don’t miss: the Bremen Bonbon Manufaktur for handmade sweets, the tiny Packhaustheater, and the legendary “Katzengang”—one of the narrowest alleyways in the world.

Whether you’re looking for a studio apartment, a cosy night’s stay, or a stylish base with character—Pentahotel Bremen is your perfect starting point to discover every side of this awesome city. Central, stylish, laid-back. Stop by and make your summer one to remember!
