Nightlife in Birmingham

Birmingham is a bustling city full of life. It boasts an impressive number of clubs, live music venues, bars and pubs that promise you and your friends an unforgettable night out. Birmingham is characterized by its industrial past, and this shows up in the modernized warehouse aesthetics of its clubs. This city truly has something for everyone, whether you are into techno or reggae, funk or pop. Make sure to check out these spots during your next stay at Pentahotel Birmingham and experience the best nightlife Birmingham has to offer.

Nightclubs
Birmingham knows how to party. If you are looking for a wide variety of clubs, you have come to the right place. Broad Street offers you nightclubs like PRYZM, which convinces both in terms of size and sound quality, and in the Gay Village district you will find fun venues like The Nightingale Club, the city’s largest LGBT club.
The smaller but immensely popular reggae venue Club PST as well as industrial Lab 11 are located in the artsy area of Digbeth. There are many more worthwhile clubs, from Rosies to Reflex, so you can look forward to many nights of exploration.

Live Music
Birmingham has it all when it comes to its Nightlife, from massive dance floors with world-class DJs to cozy venues featuring up-and-coming artists. While you are here, check out indie spots such as legendary canalside pub The Flapper, beloved Sunflower Lounge in the city centre less than 10 minutes from our hotel, or the small and unique suki10c in Digbeth. O2 Academy Birmingham is located right next to us as well and features major artists as well as smaller acts.

Food & Drink
If you are looking to start your night out with a beer and a meal, head to one of the many pubs in the city centre or along the canal with your friends. There are plenty of excellent spots to choose from, with Purecraft Bar & Kitchen and the Davenports pub The Queens Head being some of the best ones.
Can’t decide if you want to stay in or go out? The Pentalounge is your home away from home, offering fresh snacks and main courses as well as delicious drinks. Welcome!
