Marktrock Leuven – This annual music festival takes place in the city centre and has hosted numerous iconic international acts (as well as many local!)
Leuven Night Run – Definitely one of the most unique runs you will ever go on. Take in the city, its streets and various buildings on a special and memorable night.
Leuven Christmas Market  - Located in the Ladeuzeplein & H. Hooverplein in the city centre, this charming Christmas market has over 100 stalls and is a growing tradition.

Much of Leuven was rebuilt in 1914: After occupying German forces torched much of the city during the First World War. This explains the city’s eclectic architecture!
