After the huge success of our February edition of ‘Les Chambres du Chef by Penta’, we’re excited to announce the dates for the March “SPRING is in the air” edition.

We are thrilled to present to you our collaboration with these awesome restaurants in Leuven over the 4 (long) weekends of March. Each Thursday, Friday and Saturday, a restaurant and its Chef are in the spotlight to tantalize your taste buds (we added Thursdays so that we can offer even more of you the chance to experience this incredible concept)! Several rooms will be dedicated to 'Les Chambres du Chef by Penta'.

Your private dining room for two – in either a connecting or an adjoining room to your bedroom, or within a spacious suite – will be the perfect setting to discover the unique menu prepared and freshly cooked by the Chef of your choice.

You clearly love Gainsbourg! They sold out so quickly that we had to invite them back to give everyone a chance to book them again. Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg formed an iconic couple together. She was the personification of beauty and became his muse, mate and mother of his child. The style of restaurant Gainsbourg and Pentahotel is quite similar. Our ideas are simple: get your basics right, create a cozy vibe and serve top quality in its purest form.

Chef of Octobar, Jurgen Truyen, runs a tiny hidden wine bar right across from the Pentahotel in Leuven’s historic centre. It is not a bar, nor a restaurant, but a cosy mix of both. But hey, Penta is not just a hotel either… and that’s exactly why we love their extraordinary concept. They mainly serve seafood and fish, prepared in the purest way to maintain all the flavours. Usually they offer small bites and plates, but for Les Chambres du Chef they will prepare a freshly made 3-course menu, straight from the ocean.

The Japanese Chef and owner, Netra Magar, uses only the very best, freshest products for Sakura’s fine and refreshing preparations. Sushi and sashimi are their passion, maybe an obsession. And we at Penta share this obsession! Sakura means 'cherry blossom' in Japanese. A blossom with a short lifespan that turns into a new creation. Japanese cuisine is not easily prepared at home. So, all the more reason to welcome Sakura to Les Chambres du Chef and to offer you that typical Asian fine dining experience we’ve all been missing out on for so long.
