NEIGHBOURHOOD TIPS #1
Pet lovers should pay a visit to Mikiki, the first pet-friendly shopping mall in San Po Kong District. Mikiki is a Japanese word that means "to see and to experience." Just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, Mikiki features a creative shopping and experience concept and houses almost 100 fun retailers and eateries. Special outlets in Mikiki include a coffee shop themed after the old Kai Tak Airport and even pet cafés.
NEIGHBOURHOOD TIP #2
It might be your lucky day! The eight streets to the north of Tseuk Luk Street and south of Choi Hung Road, including Luk Hop Street, where penta is located, are named numerically from one to eight in Chinese and followed by an auspicious Chinese character (Wealth, Happiness, Blessing, Beauty, Youth, Reunion, Treasure or Fortune.) Take a walk around the neighbourhood, check out the street names and let the good fortune follow you!
NEIGHBOURHOOD TIP #3
Hong Kong is known as a gourmet paradise and the popular Asian ethnic eateries of Kowloon City are just an eight-minute taxi ride from the hotel. Amongst the international cuisines, Asian specialities are the highlight of Kowloon City. You can find authentic and inexpensive Guangdong and Chiu Chow food, as well as Thai, Vietnamese and Muslim cuisines, not to mention local desserts, all served refreshingly unpretentiously.
Enjoy unlimited, free oxygen and WiFi across all our hotels!
