Let us be absolutely clear – we’re sure that penta is the best place to enjoy your beer! But if you want to see the place where Germany’s most beloved black beer is brewed, well, we thoroughly recommend a trip to the Köstritzer Brewery, just ten kilometres away. Prost!
NEIGHBOURHOOD TIP #2
You don’t have to be social climber to rise above everyone else, at least not in the nearby village of Ronneburg. In fact, you can climb 143 steps and see the spectacular views from the 13th century castle, including the skyscrapers of Frankfurt on a clear day.

Take a walk on the wild side at Forest Zoo, in the romantic Martin Grund, a 20-acre site featuring 500 animals and 80 different species, mostly native to the northern hemisphere.
