A chat with Rami Hattab

This month we have a chat with Rami Hattab, a singer and songwriter from Wiesbaden. If you like what you read, you should know he sounds even better. Also, who said that gigs are off the table during these crazy times? On 19 November Pentahotel Wiesbaden is hosting an intimate solo performance by Rami, so intimate that there won’t be any crowd (how exclusive is that?!). But worry not, we are going to live-stream the whole thing on our Instagram page. (Virtual) doors open at 20:00, don’t be late!

Penta: What do you think of garden gnomes?
Rami: Maybe I'll be boring enough for them one day. Until then, it’s a no from me.

P: Where do you feel most at home? Where is your ‘hood?
R: My home is where my family is, so that can be anywhere. But I grew up in Wiesbaden Biebrich.

P: Tell us about a project that is keeping you busy in this period.
R: We are right in the middle of getting ready to promote my debut album in 2021.

P: Who are your role models?
R: My role models are my children and anyone from whom I can learn something.

P: You have ten seconds to tell our readers why they should check you out.
R: Because I’ll release new music in 2021. Because my music expresses what you think and feel. Because in 2021 you want to change your life, maybe buy a caravan, and listen to good music.

P: Who is the last person you called?
R: My manager Alex Causo.

P: Pizza or burgers?
R: Just oatmeal, chicken and broccoli at the moment :-) I need to lose 20 kilos.
